Cross-dressing entertainer Danny La Rue has vowed to put away his dresses for good.
The 79-year-old drag star, who suffered a stroke in January, made the decision after doctors advised him to cut back on his schedule. But La Rue is adamant he is not retiring.
After taking a break following his stroke he is planning a series of Audience With ... shows to launch his autobiography, which he will present in more sombre attire, and not in his flamboyant frocks.
