KEY POINTS:
Daniel Craig has been named Britain's best dressed man.
The Bond star beat a host of fellow celebrities to top the poll conducted by men's magazine GQ.
The 39-year-old actor gained worldwide sex-symbol status when he emerged from the sea as James Bond in Casino Royale wearing a pair of tight pale blue trunks.
It now appears the hunky star has been impressing male fans with his clothes choices too.
Fellow movie heartthrob Jude Law also featured in the top ten – coming 5th in the list, while British TV presenter Russell Brand and Kate Moss' boyfriend Pete Doherty won places on both the best and worst dressed list.
Russell was number 8 in the best dressed, but first on the worst. Pete came 7th and 5th respectively.
It wasn't just celebrities whose style sense received plaudits. Runner-up to Daniel was Conservative leader David Cameron. The former Eton schoolboy was commended for his original tie choices and penchant for Converse trainers.
The magazine described David as "a politician who understands the news agenda is set as much by appearance as it is by words".
Labour MP Gordon Brown, who is favourite to take over as Prime Minister from Tony Blair, came number 2 in the worst dressed list.
