But viewers who spent money voting for their favourite celeb can rest assured, all is above board.
Any votes cast between Sunday at 7pm, when voting lines opened, and Sunday June 7 at 8.30pm will go towards the first elimination.
Eagle-eyed viewers were also quick to point out Monday night's result show was taped immediately after the live show, with both the judges and audience members sporting the same clothes.
The Herald has confirmed Monday night's results shows will all be pre-recorded, with filming taking place immediately after the live show on Sunday night. Voting lines will not be open between Sunday night's live show and Monday's elimination.
According to voting terms and conditions, there will be weekly "voting windows" which open after the show goes to air on Monday night and closes at the end of Sunday night's live show at 8.30pm.
However, viewers who cast votes between Sunday night and Monday - when voting is not open - may still be charged for their mistake.
"MediaWorks accepts no responsibility of liability for costs incurred as a result of a viewer submitting a vote prior to or after the voting lines have been announced as open or closed."
281,000 viewers tuned in to watch Monday night's result show, down from the 357,000 that watched Sunday night's debut episode.
