Simon Barnett's rise to dancing super-stardom continued tonight with the first perfect 10 in this season of Dancing With the Stars.
The Christchurch-based broadcaster and partner Vanessa Cole received the score from dance expert Candy Lane for their pasadoble to Survivor's Eye of the Tiger.
Combined with nines from the other judges, the pair's total of 28 sent them to the top of the leaderboard for the second consecutive week.
Earlier in the evening, a Burlesque-inspired quickstep saw former Bachelor contestant Chrystal Chenery and her partner Jonny Williams earn a unanimous round of 9s from the judges for an overall score of 27.
Other high-scoring dances in the movie-themed fifth week of the celebrity dancing competition included an Argentine tango by boxer Shane Cameron and Nerida Cortese and a lift-filled rhumba by actress Siobhan Marshall and Charlie Billington.
