Dakota Johnson forced to use a butt double

Anastasia Steele played by Dakota Johnson in the film adaptation of the novel Fifty Shades of Grey.

It has been revealed US actress Dakota Johnson had a butt double for sex scenes in Fifty Shades of Grey, because the film's cinematographer didn't like her tattoo.

As filming on the film's sequel gets underway, cinematographer Seamus McGarvey has told the The New York Times he had to find a double for the 26-year-old actress because Johnson's rear-end ink was so visible - and her character didn't have any skin art.

"I went through a phase where I loved tattoos, and I loved the feeling of getting tattooed," Johnson previously told Porter magazine, "but now I've outgrown them mostly.

"I always have to cover them for jobs. God, they're annoying."

Filming for Fifty Shades Darker began in Canda this week. The film is scheduled for release in February, 2017.
