Props from the film The Da Vinci Code are to be auctioned off. Lincoln Cathedral said it planned to sell 43 wall hangings that were used to turn it into Westminster Abbey for the Hollywood film.
The cathedral said it was also selling five statues that it put on display with the 2.5m hangings after filming finished.
Westminster Abbey refused to allow Tom Hanks and Sir Ian McKellen to act out the final scenes from the adaptation of Dan Brown's bestselling novel, claiming the book was "theologically unsound".
