KEY POINTS:
Eleven extras who were injured during the filming in the German capital of a World War II drama starring Tom Cruise were threatening to sue the producers of the film, their lawyer said.
"Those responsible on the set displayed inhuman indifference in playing with the health and the lives of the extras," Ariane Bluttner said.
She said she would launch legal action against the US production company making the Hollywood production Valkyrie "unless it unbureaucratically and rapidly compensated the injured".
The men, dressed as Nazi soldiers, were sitting on the back of a truck made to look like a Wehrmacht military vehicle on Sunday when the driver turned sharply, causing a side panel to spring open and the extras fell out.
