Pros: The three distinct districts that make up Pacific City, the world of Crackdown, are large and graphically impressive. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop is vertigo-inducing, a sure sign of good game design, and the huge explosions are reminiscent of Burnout Revenge.
Cons: Veers a little too far into Marvel super-hero terrain as the genetically modified super-cop you play takes on gangs straight out of Saints Row.
Verdict: Marauding through the city taking out crime bosses and their well-armed minions is entertaining thanks to the open-ended game play and impressive pyrotechnics.
