We're always told the read the fine print.
But for one couple they learned the hard way when they didn't double check their concert tickets they thought they got a great deal on.
Duncan Robb was stunned when he thought he had found cheap tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert in Belfast.
Paying just £30 (NZ$57) Robb decided to surprise his girlfriend to see her all-time favourite band.
But flying to Belfast they realised they had made a terrible mistake.
Unfortunately, Robb didn't buy tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers - but the Red Hot Chilli Pipers - "the most famous bagpipe band on the planet," their website claims.
"When I clicked on and got tickets in row Q and for 30 each I thought what a bargain, there must not be many tickets left and snatched them up straight away," he told Storyful.
"Also, I saw the date was Feb. 10, so I could make it into a Valentine's Day weekend - kill two birds with one stone."
He printed them out and gave them to his girlfriend on Christmas Day, saying that no one noticed.
It was only until days before the show that her girlfriend raised the alarm.
"Fast forward a month and we get the actual tickets through the post - brilliant! Up they went on the board - still nobody had noticed my mistake.
"It was only until the Wednesday before when my girlfriend wanted to know who was supporting them. She couldn't find anything about the Red Hot Chili Peppers performing in Belfast."
Instead of letting their trip go to waste, the couple laughed off the situation and decided to go along to the concert.
The couple is still hopeful they'll one day get to see the real Red Hot Chili Peppers.
