Kiwi donned their best Star Wars, Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean and Game of Thrones garb yesterday as the country's biggest pop-culture expo swung into life.
Thousands flocked to the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland for the Armageddon expo, which features comics, gaming and international stars.
Christopher Lloyd - who featured in the Back to the Future trilogy, The Addams Family, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Taxi and Star Trek 3 - is the major attraction at the four-day event which winds-up tomorrow.
Today's action sees Lloyd part of a special Back to the Future panel on the main stage at 1pm, while tomorrow's panel includes James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter movies.
The expo also crown New Zealand's best costume dressers, with the annual Cosplay Cup to be decided.
