KEY POINTS:
American magician David Copperfield has cancelled shows coming up in Southeast Asia after allegations of sexual misconduct in the US, a Thai organiser said.
The cancellations come days after FBI agents searched his warehouse and a casino hotel in Las Vegas, where the magician regularly performs, following charges that he "forced himself" on an unidentified woman.
His lawyer, David Chesnoff, says there is no truth to the allegations. He said the shows were cancelled because tour operators in Asia defaulted on their contract.
