The magic of Ed Sheeran lies in his lyrics. They are submerged in the beauty of his singing and the charm of his personality yet the subject matter can be grim. Being just 22 and relishing his career most of his songs are as lively and joyful as the man himself.
His charisma fuelled a delightful performance before a 12,000 mostly female crowd at Vector last night. He began the night with Give Me Love, a simple song sung beautifully and ended it with the wildly popular The A Team.
Frustrated love is a musical muse that keeps on giving and Sheeran went to her with the song U.N.I, which he sang personally to every girl at Vector arena and they swooned in unison back at him. This was the last stop of nearly two years of touring. Next week Sheeran being opening for Taylor Swift in the next step of his impressive career.
Sheeran played the Vector Arena in Auckland last night, and flies out today.
