Billy Te Kahika Jnr has released a song to try to sway the electorate just eight days before Kiwis hit polling booths.
The Advance NZ co-leader has reveled his unique take on Stealer's Wheel 1972 hit song 'Stuck In The Middle With You'.
And it with lyrics like "Commies to the left, fascists to the right', Te Kahika is trying to position his party as a centrist force.
Despite the song's catchy tune, it's unlikely voters will be stuck with Advance NZ after the election. The party is polling at only 1 per cent, according to TVNZ Colmar Brunton Poll.
A fellow Twitter user questioned whether Stealers Wheel gave "permission for their song to be ripped off".
Advance NZ Replied with "all rights required have been obtained under license for audio and visual reproduction".
In 2017 the National Party was found guilty of copyright breach as music used in its 2014 election ad sounded very similar to Eminem's Lose Yourself.
The High Court ruled the similarities between Lose Yourself and Eminem Esque were so strong, it breached copyright.
