Comedian and film star Chris Rock completes a trifecta of international comedians assailing our city in the coming months, playing Auckland's Civic Theatre on August 6.
Part of the No Apologies tour, the show will be Rock's first performance in New Zealand.
Co-creator of Everybody Hates Chris, Rock hosted the Academy Awards in 2005 and was voted the fifth greatest stand-up comedian of all time by Comedy Central.
Tickets to the show go on sale on June 19.
Rock will perform a week after British comedian Lenny Henry passes through town, playing the Aotea Centre on July 28, and a month before Bill Bailey takes the stage at the Aotea Centre on August 31.
