Silly, personal, freaking out about getting older and adventure sports.
Is there somewhere we can see your work online? If not, why?
I have quite a comprehensive website, josielong.com, and I'm always tweeting @josielong, but that's mainly about what a disgusting, mendacious bunch of incompetents the UK Government are.
What does your mum think of what you do?
I think she's quite proud, but she would prefer it if I was on television presenting some kind of magazine show or other.
Eight minutes into your show, all going well, what should be happening?
Ha! Eight minutes is very specific. Hmm. I should be talking about finding a new macho side to myself while I was climbing a mountain, and about how that made me feel uncomfortable - and hopefully the audience will all be laughing and thinking, "This is the greatest eight minutes of my life so far".
Where are you usually when ideas or jokes come to you?
I get quite a lot on public transport - it's very good for people-watching and it's very good for making you sit and think quietly.
What's more important to have as a comedian, youth or wisdom? Discuss.
Hmm. I hope wisdom, as that's not what I'll have in decreasing amounts, now I'm over 30.
Who's your comedy hero, and why?
Mark Thomas - as well as being a comedian and writer he is also an activist who has helped to make actual meaningful change in the world! Also he wrote and performed an incredible show about his dad last year, that was just perfect and really inspiring.
