Colin Firth's famous lake swim as Mr Darcy in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice has been named the most memorable moment in British TV drama history.
The Hollywood actor sent pulses racing when he emerged in a wet, see-through shirt during in the 1995 series, and the scene has now topped a UK TV poll.
The survey, for the Drama channel, named the top 10 most memorable moments in UK TV drama, and Firth's scene beat out competition from another period drama, Downton Abbey, which gained a mention for the shocking death of Lady Sybil Crawley in season three.
