A second newsreader has decided to edit his broadcast to exclude a story about a young star's arrest.
CNN news anchor Jack Cafferty today asked for a story on yesterday's arrest of Lindsay Lohan to be removed from his teleprompter.
Lohan was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and cocaine possession after a bizarre, pre-dawn car chase just days after finishing a six-week stint in rehabilitation.

Last month MSNBC anchor Mika Brzezinski refused to read a story on hotel heiress Paris Hilton's release from jail after serving time for violating probation.
To the amazement of viewers, she looked into the camera and apologised for the decision to put the hotel heiress's release from jail at the top of news, ahead of an important political story linked to the war in Iraq.
When her co-host, Joe Scarborough laughed at her words, she refused to read the story.
"No," she said, "I hate this story and I don't think it should be the lead."
Then she began to read the next item, opening with the phrase "To the news now ... "
