Flight of the Conchords funnyman Jermaine Clement has confirmed his new vampire film will hit Kiwi cinemas in June.
Clement confirmed the winter release date for What We Do in the Shadows in a question and answer session on the Funny or Die Facebook page.
Directed by Clement and co-star Taika Waititi, What We Do in the Shadows follows the lives of Viago (Waititi), Deacon (Jonathan Brugh) and Vladislav (Clement) - three flatmates who are centuries-old vampires, struggling with modern life in Wellington.
He also told questioning fans while Flight of the Conchords, the comedy act he shares with Bret McKenzie, is "dormant at the moment", there was a "slight chance" of a film from the pair sometime in the future.
Clement will feature in Muppets Most Wanted and Rio 2 later this year.
