KEY POINTS:
Charlotte's gone, Renee is back and Clarke's jumped ship - welcome to the magic of television.
Charlotte Dawson has bid farewell to New Zealand and her long-running stint as United Travel Getaway presenter to front another television show in Australia.
Earlier this month, Dawson announced she was leaving the country to host the reality competition, Australia's Next Top Model.
Meanwhile, C4 presenter Clarke Gayford bid adieu to the music television channel and co-host Jane Yee, hosting his final episode of Special Features two weeks ago.
Gayford has been confirmed as a new presenter for Getaway, alongside former Headliners presenter Renee Wright.
Prime TV spokesperson Elaine Koller said the programme was looking to add local presenters and Gayford and Wright were not intended as replacements for Dawson.
"We're very sorry Charlotte has decided to leave. She is a great talent and we are sad to lose her," said Koller.
While Dawson served as sole host of the programme throughout her four-year tenure, Wright and Gayford will share the presenting role, in a bid to spread the substantial workload.
Audiences may remember Wright from her time as co-host of TV One's daily entertainment show, Headliners. The series was cancelled in 2005 due to poor ratings.
Gayford has been a familiar face to New Zealand viewers since 2003, when he hosted C4's inaugural broadcast, alongside Jaquie Brown.
C4 publicist Amanda Wilson said the network was currently screen testing replacements for Gayford and a successor would be named in the coming weeks.
