As the aftershocks appeared to calm down, the model then tweeted a relieved: "phewwwww", before explaining the build of her holiday home added to her terror.
"Oh man. We are on stilts. It felt like a ride. 15 solid seconds of 'hooooooly s**t this is happening'," she tweeted.

A magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck off the north coast of Indonesia's island of Lombok at 7:45pm on Sunday, according to the US Geological Survey.
Indonesia's disaster mitigation agency said the earthquake, which struck at a depth of 15km, has prompted a tsunami warning.
The warning covers North Lombok, East and North Bali, the north side of East Java, Southeast Madura, South Kalimantan, and South Sulawesi.
It comes a week after a powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the popular Indonesian tourist destination, killing 30 people and injuring at least 162.
The family have been enjoying their holiday in Bali for the past week, with Chrissy updating her social media fans with snaps and updates.
The vacation comes as Legend told People magazine that he and Teigen have been focusing on time with their children.
"There's a lot of family days," he told the publication in June at an event for his new wine brand LVE.
"We've been home a lot. We haven't been working much at all… We just enjoy each other's company."
Chrissy welcomed her first child with musician John in April 2016. The couple conceived daughter Luna thanks to fertility treatment and they repeated the IVF process with son Miles, born in May.
The pair began dating in 2007 and later tied the knot in 2013.
