Chris Evans pranks Scarlett Johansson on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
They join forces to battle it out against the baddies in their four films together under the Marvel umbrella.
But it was Scarlett Johansson on the receiving of a sneak attack from co-star Chris Evans during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The 30-year-old actress belted out a hearty scream after her hunky 33-year-old co-star snuck up behind her and yelled while she was chatting with the talk show host.
No doubt Johansson was caught completely off-guard as she quickly put her hands over her mouth in embarrassment much to Evans' amusement as he laughed in the background.
The Lost In Translation actress definitely was a good sport about the gag as she welcomed the actor with a big hug despite appearing to still be in a panicked state.
Just before the prank, the blonde beauty described their working relationship to the 57-year-old host: "I think this is our fifth movie. We've been working together since we were like 17, I think, or something like that."
The duo first worked together on 2004 teen comedy The Perfect Score as Johansson added: "I know him very well. Too well I'm sure."
Johansson looked lovely in a casual chic look as she donned a flowy blue top with black trousers and had her short blonde locks elegantly dishevelled.
Evans was dressed perfectly for the sneak attack as he donned a pair of black socks to keep his footsteps quiet along with navy blue trousers, a brown shirt and a black leather jacket.
Earlier in the interview, the Lucy actress discussed her pregnancy and being a mother for the first time as she gave birth to daughter, Rose Dorothy, back in September.
She was actually pregnant while shooting The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which prompted DeGeneres to ask: "Do you think you're supermom?"
Johansson played coy as she replied: "Certainly not. No. I would never assume that title. No. Although you know I certainly actually shot this film while I was pretty pregnant.
"Which was is kind of crazy. I never thought I would be doing this movie. It was mind blowing. Very strange."
The blonde beauty enjoyed the experience of being on set during the filming of the highly-anticipated action flick as she added: "I don't know I was happy. Like I said I was super happy to be working. And everybody had to be nice to me. Which was cool."
Johansson and Evans' superhero flick features a star studded cast also including: Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackey, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Paul Bettany.
