The actor who played Chewbacca in the Star Wars films has been taken to hospital suffering from pneumonia.
Peter Mayhew cancelled an appearance at a comic book store in Texas over the weekend after falling ill.

His wife has assured fans the British star is expected to make a full recovery and will be "discharged within a few days".
She adds, "Doctors are incredibly happy with his improvements."

Mayhew, 70, will portray wookie Chewbacca in J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars sequel The Force Awakens.
