Charlie Sheen is facing a new lawsuit from an ex-girlfriend who is accusing the actor of allegedly exposing her to HIV and then attempting to persuade her not to take antiretroviral drugs.
According to Variety, the documents do not identify Sheen or his ex-girlfriend however they list the defendant as "a confidential male defendant" who learnt he was HIV positive back in 2011 and "gave national TV interviews about his HIV status on November 17, 2015 and on June 21, 2016", reported news.com
Sheen sat down with The Today Show on November 17, 2015 to speak about being HIV positive and sat down with the morning show again on June 21, 2016.
The actor's ex-girlfriend, described in the lawsuit as a "Russian émigré", allege the pair met in September, 2015 and quickly started sleeping together.
The lawsuit claims she asked if he had any sexually transmitted diseases but was repeatedly assured he was "fine".
