Fright night is almost upon us and celebrities are certainly getting into the Halloween spirit.
The Voice Australia coach Joel Madden and his wife Nicole Richie shared pictures from the annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.
"Doin' the monsta mash," Richie said on Instagram with a picture of a zombie bride.
The Haunted Hayride has become legendary in the city, with brave customers travelling through the dark, creepy Old Zoo in Griffith Park, which was abandoned in 1965.

"We had a fright tonight," Alba said on Instagram.
Actor Olivia Wilde has been on a pumpkin-carving craze, showing off five of her designs on Instagram.
"I've developed a specific set of skills useful only for Halloween and tunnelling out of a prison cell," she joked on Instagram.
Aussie singer Lisa Origliasso, one half of The Veronicas, and her American boyfriend Logan Huffman have also been carving pumpkins.
They shared a series of photos from a visit to a pumpkin farm last week.
"Look what I picked up at the pumpkin patch," Huffman said on Instagram with a pic of Origliasso in a wheelbarrow.
Canadian actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau, meanwhile, has not been having so much fun.
The Baby Daddy cast member reportedly underwent skin-graft surgery on Wednesday after suffering nasty burns to his arms and legs when his alpaca Halloween costume caught fire at a party.
A spokesperson told New York Post gossip column Page Six that Bilodeau is expected to make a full recovery.
