The massive blizzard described as "a hurricane of snow" is set to slam America's heavily-populated north-east.
The storm is expected to bring near hurricane-force 105km/h winds and dump more than 90cm of snow on Monday and Tuesday in a region where almost 60 million people live, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm will affect a 250-mile stretch including 60 million people across seven states with more than 6,000 flights being cancelled over the next two days.
