Hollywood's biggest A-list stars have taken to social media, freaking out about Donald Trump's victory.
Katy Perry, Lena Dunham, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and other celebs have expressed their devastation and anxiety over the fact that Trump is going to be their new president.
The news of Trump becoming America's 45th President-elect has hit hard with some of Hillary Clinton's biggest celebrity supporters like Lady Gaga, who staged a protest outside Trump Tower in New York City, where Trump had been watching the results with his family and campaign team.
The singer was photographed crying and holding a sign saying "Love trumps hate" on a garbage truck.
Katy Perry, who spoke at Clinton's election party HQ, sent out an avalanche of tweets, refusing to accept the outcome of the election. One of her tweets stated: "POWER TO THE PEOPLE" and another stated: "WE WILL NEVER BE SILENCED".
We stand together. We stick up for the vulnerable. We challenge bigots. We don't let hate speech become normalised. We hold the line. https://t.co/ro9AkRSc9Q
Many A-listers including Rihanna, are also reposting a meme of Trump with a quote from an interview he gave People Magazine in 1998.
Other celebrities like Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes and actresses Sophia Bush, Diane Kruger and Zoe Kravitz have protested against Trump's victory by posting a black picture on their social media accounts.
Other Hollywood personalities have expressed their support for Trump, including actor Stephen Baldwin, who tweeted that he was "proud to have been part of such amazing history."
