Lindsay Lohan must mean "you're stupid" in Arabic.
Because the actress unwittingly called all of her 3.5 million Instagram followers donkeys with a mistranslated Arabic message.
The Mean Girls star posted a deep and inspirational quote on her social media page that was meant to say "you're beautiful" but actually translated to "you're a donkey".
The 28-year-old actress quickly deleted the post, but not before some of her followers took screenshots.
Lohan is not the first celebrity to fail at Google Translate, and at least she didn't get it tattooed onto a body part.
Rihanna is rumoured to have botched a risque Sanskrit tattoo down her side that was meant to say "forgiveness, honesty, suppression and control" but actually translated to "long suffering, truthfulness, self-restraint, inward calm, fear and fearlessness".
Sanskrit also defeated David Beckham when he tried to pay tribute to his wife Victoria by tattooing her name on his forearm. The translation reveals the tattoo typo "Vihctoria".
And who could forget Britney Spear's ironic ink?
The Hit Me Baby One More Time singer decorated her hip with a Chinese character she thought meant "mysterious" but actually means "strange".
