Actress Cate Blanchett has expanded her family by adopting a baby girl.
She and husband, Andrew Upton, who have been married since 1997, already have sons Dashiell, 13, Roman, 10, and Ignatius, 7.
The boys' new baby sister has been named Edith Vivian Patricia Upton.
Yesterday a beaming Upton told the Daily Telegraph outside their Hunters Hill home in Sydney: "We're thrilled."
Blanchett will next be seen on the big screen in Disney's Cinderella.
