KEY POINTS:
The Silo Theatre's season of the hilarious Mystery of Irma Vep has been extended to December 22. Its stars Oliver Driver and Michael Hurst, who will need a cup of tea and a lie-down over the Christmas break with their multi-character turns involving a lot of costume changes and an extraordinary amount of energy.
You'll still have to be fast - many performances have sold out.
Our reviewer, Shannon Huse, said: "Silo Theatre has the perfect cure for end-of-year-itis. A dose of The Mystery of Irma Vep should have even the most stressed feeling lighthearted again."
Bookings are via www.ticketmaster.co.nz.
The Silo is still finalising its 2008 programme but the theatre is collaborating with the Large Group on a production of Brecht and Weill's The Threepenny Opera, which will open at the end of May at the Maidment Theatre.
