Cara Delevingne is set to star in new teenage film Paper Towns, based on John Green's young adult novel. Green also wrote The Fault In Our Stars which was adapted into a film starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.
The model is reported to be in talks to star as female lead Margo in the film alongside Nat Wolff, according to Variety.
Set in Florida, the novel sees young children Quentin Jacobsen and his neighbour Margo Roth Spiegelman enter Jefferson Park where they discover the corpse of a divorced man who has committed suicide.
The novel then flashes forward to find Quentin and Margo as high school students who have grown apart. One night, Margo appears at Quentin's bedroom window and convinces him to sneak out and help her seek revenge on people she feels have hurt her.
The film, which is to be made by Fox 2000, follows the success of the company's recent adaptation of John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, which made £171.5 million at the global box office.
