The boy's plight was also seen by Oscar-winning Australian filmmaker George Miller, who invited Quaden to appear in his upcoming film Three Thousand Years of Longing.
Due for release in Australia next month, Three Thousand Years of Longing stars Hollywood heavyweights Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton and was filmed in Sydney.
Miller was so impressed with Quaden's performance that he invited him to appear as an extra in his next film Furiosa, the fifth instalment in the Mad Max franchise and a prequel to 2015's smash hit Mad Max: Fury Road.
"It was good for us and it was good for him," Miller told Good Weekend magazine.
"And he did such a good job that he's got a small role in Furiosa."
Yarraka Bayles live-streamed her son's situation back in February 2020 to show the effects bullying can have.
"I've just picked my son up from school, witnessed a bullying episode, rang the principal, and I want people to know - parents, educators, teachers - this is the effect that bullying has," she said in the video.
"Every single... day, something happens. Another episode, another bullying, another taunt, another name-calling.
"This is what bullying does.
"Can you please educate your children, our families, your friends... you wonder why kids are killing themselves?"
Yarraka Bayles later said Quaden had continually dealt with bullying and discrimination because of his race and disability.
"We are losing way too many people because of bullying, because of discrimination, because of racism. There's so many factors of bullying," she said.
"It's every parent's worst nightmare, losing their babies, and for me that's my reality every day."
"With a disability, people don't understand that's a double-edged sword. There's racism and then there's discrimination because of the disability."
Due for release in 2024, Furiosa will star Anya Taylor-Joy and Australia's Chris Hemsworth.
The movie is expected to focus on the origins of Charlize Theron's Imperator Furiosa character, who was introduced in the six-time Academy Award-winning Mad Max: Fury Road.
Filming started in New South Wales back in June.
