Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers rocked the Super Bowl XLVIII Half Time Show today.
The performance marked the halfway point in the huge NFL game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos at the MetLife Stadium in in New Jersey.
The show started with a children's choir singing the words to Bruno and Travie McCoy's track
which ended with Bruno singing the line "Give it Away, Give it Away Give it Away Now," heralding the arrival of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Both singer Anthony Keidis and bass player Flea appeared shirtless despite the cold New Jersey weather - although the vocalist was wearing a fetching pair of leggings - and the joined with Bruno's band to sing 'Give it Away'.
As the song ended, the band left the stage with Bruno telling the crowd: "Make some noise for the Red Hot Chili Peppers".
He then performed his signature hit Just The Way You Are which started with a number of video messages from US servicemen and women who are currently overseas.
The Half Time Show then ended with fireworks as Bruno once again thanked the crowd.
