Britney Spears' team has reportedly banned alcohol from being backstage so the singer is not tempted to drink, according to Page Six.
This comes just days after Demi Lovato suffered a near fatal overdose during a day off from her tour. The former Disney star allegedly was on meth and heroin while doing shots before being found unconscious in her bed.
"Britney's team set strict guidelines that no alcohol at all could be served backstage, because they want to keep it away from her, and also many of her dancers are underage," a source told the publication. "Apparently this is the policy throughout her tour," the insider added.
It was reported by column Straight Shuter that before the Piece of Me tour even kicked off that Brit's people would have "advance people" removing any alcohol from hotel rooms where she'd stay, and that her team would "ensure no shady characters get anywhere near her."
The Baby One More Time crooner has been sober since her 2007 breakdown.
