The lion symbol has also been used as a sign of support for her among fans and members of the #FreeBritney movement.
Asghari posted a lion emoji on an earlier post Wednesday – hours before Spears appeared in court – when he was boldly wearing a "Free Britney" shirt.
Spears told a court yesterday that she wants to get married and have another baby, but that still being in a conservatorship has prevented her from making those dreams a reality.
The 39-year-old singer addressed the Los Angeles court via video link saying she wants to marry Asghari and have children with him.
Spears shares two children – sons Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14 – with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
"I would like to move progressively forward. I want to have the real deal. I want to be able to get married and have a baby," she told the court. "I was told right now, in the conservatorship, I'm not able to get married or have a baby. I have an IUD (intra-uterine device) inside of myself right now so I don't get pregnant.
"I wanted to take the IUD out, so I can start trying to have a baby. But this so-called team won't let me go to the doctor to take it out, because they don't want me to have children, any more children."
Asghari has previously said that he wants to marry Spears.
"Absolutely, this is something that every couple should do. That's the whole point of a relationship – we are a family," he said. "Trust me, if we do ever get married, everybody's going to know."
The model has also been vocal about what he thinks about Spears' dad, Jamie, who is the conservator over the singer.
"In my opinion, Jamie is a total d**k," he said. "Now it's important for people to understand that I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles our way."
