Britney Spears has reunited with her mother Lynne, following four months of the silent treatment.
Britney's mother and younger sister, Jamie Lynn, met with the troubled pop star at her Malibu Beach home yesterday, reports People Magazine.
The reunion came just two days after Spears lost custody of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
The Toxic singer is said to be distraught about the court ruling and sought comfort in her mother.
"Brit really needed her mom. So Lynne flew out and they met," a source told People.
The 25-year-old singer stopped speaking to her mother in June this year, when Britney gave Lynne a letter telling her to stay away from her sons.
