She’s foul-mouthed and hilarious, and it seems she’s won the hearts of Kiwis all around the country, as the queen of British comedy, Dawn French, is adding even more shows to her New Zealand tour.
Live Nation announced this morning that due to “overwhelming demand” in ticket sales seeing four shows sell out already, they have added even more shows in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland so everyone can get to experience the beloved Vicar Of Dibley star’s “Dawn French is a Huge Twat” tour.
Tickets for the added Christchurch and Wellington shows are already on sale, with Auckland’s added show - which will take place at The Civic on May 31 - going on sale this Friday, October 27, at 12pm.
It comes after the star admitted the tour name is “unfortunate” yet “horribly accurate”, in a statement issued to the Herald. Revealing exactly what fans are in for at the shows, French said, “There have been far too many times I have made stupid mistakes, or misunderstood something vital, or jumped the gun in a spectacular display of twattery.”
