Flight of the Conchords star Bret McKenzie is reportedly signed up to write songs for a movie rumoured to be starring Tom Cruise.
The film, Bob the Musical, is about a man who suffers a blow to the head and can instantly hear songs playing from everyone's heart, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cruise is rumoured to be keen on the lead role in the Disney film, while Michael Chabon will write the script and The Artist's Michel Hazanavicius will direct, THR says.
McKenzie, who starred in two seasons of Flight of the Conchords on HBO and won an Oscar for his song Man or Muppet from 2011's The Muppets, will pen songs for the comedy-musical.
His most recent starring role was in Peter Jackson's final Hobbit film, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. He also wrote songs for last year's Muppets movie, Muppets Most Wanted.
