KEY POINTS:
New Zealand ballroom dancer and Dancing With The Stars judge Brendan Cole has signed up for a British reality show, which will see him singing each week in front of a panel of tough industry judges.
Cole -- who has appeared in the British television show Strictly Come Dancing for the past two years, will hang up his dancing shoes while he appears on talent show Just The Two Of Us, British newspaper The Sun reported today.
Cole, 30, -- who has been referred to in the British media as a love rat -- has become as famous for his dancing, judging as his off-screen antics.
In August he was involved in a punch-up with a reality show contestant from another British reality programme.
British newspapers have also linked him to female co-stars from Strictly Come Dancing.
The Sun said Cole would receive singing lessons before singing his heart out for a panel of tough industry experts every week, the newspaper reported.
Cole came sixth in this year's Strictly Come Dancing with partner Claire King and would team up with Watchdog's Julia Bradbury on the BBC One show.
"Brendan is a fiery character who loves being in control, so expect fireworks when someone tells him what to do for a change," a BBC insider told the paper.
Cole was last seen on New Zealand screens in June when he was one of four judges on TVNZ's Dancing With the Stars.
