The silver screen is set to sizzle with reports Hollywood hunks Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Ryan Gosling have signed-on for a new flick to be directed by Anchorman's Adam McKay.
Pitt's production company Plan B is have signed Bale and Gosling as part of an all-star cast for the adaptation of the non-fiction novel The Big Short: Inside The Doomsday Machine, reports Variety.
Quoting sources, Variety.com reports Adam McKay, who directed and co-wrote Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Step Brothers is writing and directing The Big Short.
The novel tells the story of the build-up of the housing and credit bubble during the 2000s that led to the global financial crisis of 2007-2010.
Variety says there is no start date for the production and Paramount Pictures would not comment about the movie.
