Brad Pitt has opened up about love, family and his drug-addled past in his first interview since fiancee Angelina Jolie announced she had undergone a double mastectomy.
In an interview with Esquire, the 49-year-old said his chaotic family life and relationship with Jolie have made him happiest he has ever been.
"I have very few friends. I have a handful of close friends and I have my family and I haven't known life to be any happier.
"I'm making things. I just haven't known life to be any happier," he said.
He said his big family, which includes children Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, keeps him grounded.
