While most celebrity actors have their movie roles splashed across posters, these A-listers are famous for making secret cameos.
When a big-name celebrity is in a movie, their names are usually splashed across the posters.
Which makes it even weirder that these high-profile actors managed to sneak into some of our favourite films of all time … with hardly anyone noticing.
Here are some of the biggest celebrity cameos that you probably missed completely.
It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but Brad Pitt had a very small cameo in this year's Ryan Reynolds-led blockbuster Deadpool 2.
(Warning: Spoiler ahead)
He played Vanisher, one of the "superheroes" enlisted by Deadpool to help him defeat his enemy Cable, and it's assumed — as we don't see him for most of the movie — that he's not even real. But in a brief moment, the Vanisher is seen jumping out of a plane, accidentally parachuting into telephone wire, electrocuting himself … and showing his face.
As the director told Vanity Fair earlier this year: "We came up with this [Vanisher] idea, and Ryan reached out and asked, 'Would you be interested?' And he said yes, and was a great sport. He came out to play and was up for anything."
A fan of Edgar Wright's previous film Shaun of the Dead, Cate Blanchett had an uncredited role in the director's next film Hot Fuzz.
In the opening scenes Blanchett plays the ex-girlfriend of Simon Pegg's character Nicolas Angel.
Blanchett's face was covered with goggles and a face mask for her role as forensic scientist Janine.
DANIEL CRAIG — Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Simon Pegg has claimed that both he and Daniel Craig made cameo appearances as stormtroopers on Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
While the James Bond star has refused to confirm whether he had a brief role in the film, Craig is said to have played a stormtrooper that gets tricked into setting Rey free after she uses the force.
The Force Awakens
and
Spectre
were filmed at Pinewood Studios at the same time, making Craig's cameo even more likely.
The sports star played a Russian projectionist after being asked by the film's director Guy Ritchie and star Henry Cavill to make a cameo.
CHRIS MARTIN — Shaun of the Dead
Coldplay's Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland have cameos in Shaun of The Dead, with Martin playing a zombie Simon Pegg's character encounters outside the pub.
RICHARD BRANSON — Casino Royale
After supplying Virgin Atlantic planes while Casino Royale filmed in Prague, Richard Branson was given a cameo role as a thank you from producers.
Fittingly, the Virgin Group founder is pictured at Miami International Airport's security as James Bond arrives in the city.
