'Boy' takes $4m at box office

Boy is about to become New Zealand's favourite big screen comedy of all time.

Its box office takings increased to $4,038,429, drawing it near level with Sione's Wedding, which grossed $4,075,000.

Taika Waiti's film remains top of the New Zealand box office charts.
