Actress Natalie Medlock appears in Silo Theatre's new production of Stephen Sondheim's musical Assassins.
The book I love most is ... Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. It's the first published book of the Lonesome Dove series, but the third instalment in the series chronologically (if that makes sense). It's set in the Wild West and is full of cowboys, Indians and whores. It's a ripper.
The book I'm reading right now is ... The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. I'm currently not loving it. Now usually I'd give up on a book but everyone, and I mean everyone, keeps telling me that there will be this moment when I'm suddenly hooked - so I'm persevering.
The book I'd like to read next is ... The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Superficial, but my sister has it and the cover and weight of the paper is beautiful.
The book that changed me is ... I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb. Such an astute and honest study of human nature and how the past can haunt the future.
The book I wish I'd never read is ... Pass, I don't think I have any book regrets. I usually give up on a book if I'm not into it. There are too many good books out there to waste time on rubbish ones.
* Assassins plays from July 24 to August 14 at Concert Chamber, Auckland Town Hall, The Edge. Bookings (09) 357 3355 or buytickets.co.nz.
