In a moment that can only be compared to that one time Vanilla Ice danced to his hit Ice Ice Baby on the Dancing on Ice TV show, Bonnie Tyler will sing Total Eclipse of the Heart during the actual solar eclipse, aboard Royal Caribbean's Total Eclipse Cruise.
The Welsh singer will perform the 80s hit aboard the cruise at the exact moment the moon eclipses the sun in a big part of the northern hemishere on August 21.
The cruise ship will be positioned in perfect alignment at the exact spot where the solar eclipse will be, indeed, a total eclipse for those in North America, parts of the northern hemisphere and parts of northern South America.
In the United States it will be visible to every person who is awake in every state, including Hawaii and Alaska.
No part of the eclipse is visible from New Zealand or Australia, apart from the western coast of the latter where the eclipse starts as the Sun sets, says the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand, which provides a detailed map of the path of the eclipse.
