KEY POINTS:
There was no pulling the wool over the judges' eyes at the New Zealand Body Art competition yesterday.
Yolanda Bartram's creation, the ram-inspired 'Phantom's Nemesis' modelled by Hannah Tasker-Poland, was named as a finalist at the body painting, movie prosthetic makeup and special-effects extravaganza held on Auckland's North Shore.
Oscar winner Richard Taylor, the Weta Workshop director of The Lord of the Rings fame, Kiwi actor Lawrence Mokoare and Gabe Bartolos - the special effects man behind the Gremlins films - cast their eyes over the near-naked models on a particularly chilly day.
