A second wave of New Zealand sideshows spilling over from Australia's Bluesfest has been announced.
Beth Hart, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and Jimmy Cliff are all planning visits in March and April, alongside previously announced Bluesfest headliners The Black Keys.
First up is Hart, the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who will perform at Auckland's Powerstation on March 27 on the back of this year's joint live album with Joe Bonamassa, Live in Amsterdam. Tickets for the show go on sale through Ticketmaster on October 22.
One Bluesfest star guaranteed to bring the funk is George Clinton, who'll be performing with his band Parliament Funkadelic at the Powerstation on April 8.
The wild-haired 73-year-old is a funk pioneer alongside the late James Brown, and a regular visitor here, having last played in 2011. Tickets for his show go on sale on October 22 through Ticketmaster.
