London rockers Bloc Party are coming to New Zealand to celebrate their debut record Silent Alarm, more then ten years after its initial release.
Silent Alarm was released in 2005 and became an instant classic, described at the time as "a a long-overdue reminder of how urgent and exciting rock could be" by Complex Magazine, and NME called it "one of the best albums of all time".
Soundtracking everything from raves to breakups, the record featured hits like Banquet, Helicopter and Positive Tension.
Now, Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Justin Harris and Louise Bartle are coming to our shores, to perform the album in full and revisit all the classics.
They'll play Auckland's Spark Arena on November 18 and Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre on November 19.
