Here's more to add to your gig diary - though you'd be in a fairly unique demographic if you were after tickets to all of this lot. Las Vegas hard rock outfit Escape the Fate - what Airbourne are to AC/DC these guys are to Motley Crue; they co-wrote a song with the Crue's Mick Mars on their last album - bring the noise to an all-ages show at the The Studio in K Rd on Tuesday, May 3 with support from Oh, Sleeper and Broken Avenue.
Three Dog Night, the 70s pop-rock outfit behind hits like Mama Told Me Not To Come and Joy To The World are touring the North Island in May with four of the harmony-strong original line-up in their sextet. They start at Rotorua's Events Centre on Friday, May 13 and take in Napier, Wellington, Palmerston North and New Plymouth before performing at Auckland's Aotea Centre on Friday, May 20 and Hamilton's Founders Theatre the following night.
And for a different sort of blast from the past, it's the return of veteran English punk-folk performance poet and singer Attila The Stockbroker (real name John Baine) who brings his Thatcher-era greatest verses to Biddy Mulligan's in Hamilton on Wednesday, April 13 and Auckland's Thirsty Dog the following night.
