Actress Cate Blanchett will still attend a national summit this weekend just days after giving birth to her third child.
Blanchett, 38, delivered Ignatius Martin Upton last Sunday in Sydney.
Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton have two other sons: Dashiell, 6, and Roman, 3.
The birth brought congratulations from Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who said Blanchett would still co-chair an arts panel at the national summit on Saturday.
