Rowan Atkinson says a fifth season of hit comedy series Blackadder could be on the cards.
Four seasons of the show ran between 1983 and 1989 and won over fans thanks to Atkinson's sarcasm and inventive putdowns of his dimwitted sidekick Baldrick.
Blackadder also made stars out of Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and Miranda Richardson and has regularly been voted one of the best British sitcoms of all time.
Fans have long given up hope of a fifth season, but Atkinson told ITV's Daybreak show in the UK that he hadn't ruled out making another series.
"It could be reprised in some form or other. I think there is a possibility of a fifth series," he said.
